Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pieces boneless chicken breasts Ensure the chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • 4 cups chicken broth This adds rich flavor to the ramen.
  • 2 packs ramen noodles You can substitute with soba or udon noodles.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can be replaced with a lower-fat alternative.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced This adds a robust flavor to the dish.
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (such as carrots, bell peppers, and green onions) Feel free to substitute with other vegetables based on preference.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Use low-sodium soy sauce for a lighter option.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For sautéing chicken.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste Adjust according to preference.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the chicken breasts and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes per side. Once cooked through, take them out and slice them.
  • Using the same pot, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant—this should take about 30 seconds.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a gentle simmer.
  • Add the ramen noodles and mixed vegetables to the pot. Cook until the noodles are tender, following package instructions.
  • Reduce the heat to low, stir in heavy cream and soy sauce, and mix well.
  • Add salt and pepper as desired for extra flavor.
  • Ladle the ramen into bowls and top with the sliced chicken.

Notes

Serve garnished with extra green onions or sesame seeds. Pair with a light salad or crusty bread for a complete meal.
